I big thank you to Max and Aaron who were brilliant last Sunday.
They managed to organise a most enjoyable event in our local nature reserve.
I was a little fearful some villagers might take offence at the prospect of our peaceful community and surroundings being violated by
aggressive war games.
Far from it. Max and Aaron adopted a very soft low key approach and the kids and adults absolutely loved every minute.
I was astonished how well their organisation was so inclusive across 3 generations - I think our oldest player was in his 70’s.
What’s more they totally got the back story that after a run of several years when Shingay has humiliated Wendy at annual team events, ,Wendy at long last came away with the Challenge Shield.
